Grass on the main blades! (not the good kind)

Well, first crash today. I was a about 4 feet off the ground when the helicopter suddenly banked to the right. I corrected with left stick but nothing happened. The Trex hit the ground with a dull thud.

Fortunately, I hit throttle hold immediately and the ground was quite soft. Both blades went into the grass and stuck.

Damage, bent main shaft, bent flybar. There is also a nick in one of the main blades where the root hit the blade grip. The tail blades hit the ground too but there does not appear to be any damage to the blades or the tail rotor shaft. (I'll still probably replace that too)

One curious thing is that the flybar is bent to the left. (counter-clockwise) I can't seem to figure how both paddles got bent counter-clockwise.

I had just replaced my electron 6 with a new Berg 7. Supposedly the Berg 7 is more resistant to glitches. My understanding is that Berg rx's will hold position if they sense an errant signal than they hold position. So perhaps that is what I experienced.
